Horrible Customer Service

Trying to surrender a policy that has been being paid on since 1994 and is no longer needed. So far I have gotten different answers from every person that I have spoken to there.

It was like pulling teeth to get to a supervisor and when I did she promised a phone call back by the next afternoon after she researched some things. I ended up having to call her back when she didn't call and spent 20 minutes on hold before I could talk to her. Asked for her supervisor, which of course I got a voicemail and have yet to hear back from them either. They took a payment electronically out of my account and then they tell me I have to wait 30 days for it to clear????

It came out ELECTRONICALLY, you already have the funds!!!!

Feels like they have no problem taking your money but will give you the run around and make it impossible if you are trying to retrieve your funds. Will never do business with this company again.

The tattooed lady checker

I was very unhappy with the checker this afternoon. I can't remember her name but she was on register number SC010489 at 15:22:29.

She visited and exchanged phone numbers with the customer ahead of me. She was showing the customer her tattoos, where to get them, how much they cost and went on and on. When she started my checkout, she commented on my necklace which had a turtle on it. She then had to show me her tattoo of a turtle on her arm.

I was pissed off and said, "I hate tattoos because they are trashy." At least that got her to shut up. Both arms were covered in tattoos. I know lots of people have them but to me they ARE trashy and I think should be covered up with long sleeves if a person has them.

I know of other people who have said they must keep their tattoo covered while at work. My name is Sue Evans and my phone number is 417-284-****.

This company dose nothing but lie I have been told at lest 3 different stories in one day. Then when u confront them thay tell you that u miss understood them no I did not I even recorded it and I'm giving it to my lawer I have a total of 7 different phone calls recorded off them and not one person tells me the same thing.

I've been waiting over a month. To get my check. This is the worst company I have ever delt with in my life . Maybe at one time that where a good company but all thay do is lie thay told me my check was mail out 4 weeks ago and that it was the mail mans fault.

That I had not got it !!! Total bull *** .

And I have written a letter a few people about this matter . DO NOT Use this company .

Need help, my mother passed away on 27 july 2016. She had a policy with global for $10,000.

She started it approximately 1 yr prior. March 2016 she was diagnosed with lung cancer. They removed it and she was fine. One month later it turned into bone cancer and from there it was wrenching slow death of radiation and tons morphine.

And then she passed. After that my father has been trying to collect the insurance but he keeps getting put off. And of course the funeral home wants to get paid. I'm active duty Air Force sent on a 6 week training TDY and i finally paid for half of the funeral cost to keep them at bay but nearly 3 months later the phone calls have started.

My dad is a bit of a bear so i cant imagine hes very friendly on the phone. Now hes talking about getting a lawyer. I think that will defeat the purpose. Please it seems like Global doesn't want to work with him.

Its hard to concentrate on my military training with this going on. Please help

I filed a complaint with these people about a week and a half ago, I just got a call today saying that they need a copy of the bounced check statement in order to give me a refund. I spoke with someone the first time who was very unknowledgeable about her job.

She said I needed to Fax or mail them a copy of the statement. I informed her that I was not going to spend any more money to prove that they did me a injustice. I had the letter when I filed the complaint last Tuesday and Wednesday when I spoke to someone about it but was not told that a copy of it was needed in order to receive my money. I requested to speak to someone higher than the woman I was speaking with and she connected me to someone's voicemail that just hung up the phone on me.

I called back someone else answered my call this time so I asked the question about why couldn't they check the check number( which I did have) and verify whether it had been cashed or bounced due to the bank being unable to locate the acct. I also asked why couldn't I email a copy of the bank statement instead of spending gas and money trying to fax or mail a copy to them. She stated that it was a option that could be done, then proceeded to give me the email address. This is the worst Insurance Company I have ever dealt with in my life and why do I have to inform your hired agents on how to do their job.

I am definitely not using you all for anything ever again. I still feel that because of all of the hoops I had to jump through to prove that you failed me and did me an injustice, I deserve some type of gratuity for it. I'm still going to talk to my lawyer about the matter to find out if there is something else I can do about the situation and the severe inconvenience it has caused me to have to go through.

I have also attached a copy of the letter to this complaint as well. I am ensuring that all base's are covered on my end just in case I wish to file a law suite again the company within the next 3 business days if I am not contacted by someone in regards to this matter.

Globe Life Insurance Will Not Pay Claim

My girlfriend passed away July 2015. She had died of cancer.

She applied and was approved for a $50,000 life insurance policy. She did this prior to any diagnosis of cancer. She applied in March 2014 and was diagnosed in June 2014. Globe life took over 8 months to "investigate" this and then denied the payment saying "Records INDICATE that she had significant health issues PRIOR to her application.

Without PROOF of this they continued to deny the payment. Seems Globe Life has more interest in their pocketbooks than to help the person(s) that she had opened the policy for. If I had a stars to rank this company I would put minus 10. Insurance companies have so changed in the past years just to make money off the people they deny.

In my opinion, if anyone has a policy with this company, change the company before the same happens to you.

Globe Life, if you see this, I am willing to take a settlement. Make me an offer.

Worst company EVER!!! My dad passed in early March 2016.

I am STILL fighting with them for the money. I haven't been able to pay for his funeral services yet. I called multiple times over past 6 months and get a different story every time. There is no communication and no one knows what is going on with the policy every time I call.

I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They take your money and are just a big scam!

I am here again Global just cant seem to be helpful. Everytime we call we get a different story and basically they are now saying oh well nothing we can do about your issue were just going to keep the 17000.00 dollars and not pay the policy out.

Please research before you spend a dime with them. They will do everything they can to not pay your loved ones when you pass but they are quick to take that money each month.

My parents paid on this policy since 1968. I cant believe after dealing with the loss of a loved one that these people just tear the wound open again and pour salt in it

Policy Beneficiaries Change without my Knowledge

I received a letter from Globe Life Ins. stating my life ins. policy was changed however the people on my policy were people I don't know.

I called Globe Life and had it changed back to my family and asked them how this could have happened. They said the request to change my beneficiaries was made by a letter which they said they will send me a copy of.

I'm very concerned that anyone could have changed my policy so easily without my knowledge. I'm very interest to know what information these individuals used considering I'm asked several personal questions when I call about my policy

My brother William Daniels had policy with them and got sick and went in with flu and die of heart failure I submitted information and they did not pay the claim. And keep my brother death certificate and have not heard from them.
